There are many apartment complexes in Gainesville to choose from, but for those who want to enjoy their apartment home, Bellamay Grand isn't bad at all. Considering it's located on the western fringe of Gainesville where construction and traffic is booming, the once well-treed environment is starting to feel the pains that come naturally with growth. However, Bellamay Grand itself is very green and the corridors around most of the complex remain well treed (if that's a word). The current management gets kudos for attentiveness to their clientele and are always very friendly. I can say this because I've lived at Bellamay Grand since July 2001 and have seen management go from great to good to awful and now back to great. The apartments are well apportioned and taken care of and the insulation is great for AC and Heat which keeps the utility bill down.
I think the area most in need of improvement are the entry and hall ways which seem to need a good powerwash every 6 months or so. Wasps nests tend to collect in corners outside but that's part of living in Florida.
On a good day, Bellamay Grand is a great place to live. On a bad one, it's still a nice place to call home.
