I lived in Bellamay Grand for 1 year and that 1 year was too long. As previously stated in many reviews the property management is terrible. Since the day we moved in we've had issues contacting anyone in the office or getting them to call us back. I am still waiting for a phone call from them (I have been for the past 4 months) regarding the incorrect address THEY gave the water company causing us to not receive a bill for the first 7 months we lived in there. Now we are very close to entering a legal dispute regarding late fees for a bill we never received.
My apartment in particular had been altered from what I'm assuming was water damage. There mater bedroom's outer wall had been "fixed" (I could see the poorly constructed drywall repair) for some reason and never had they come to repaint the gray stucco on the outside. The garbage piled up next to the dumpsters because the staff wouldn't call waste management to empty the thing. Even though there are designated areas for animals to "do their business" other residents still let their dogs rome free and go to the bathroom where they please - ON MY PORCH!! The islands in the kitchen are a roach heaven. I had to contact the office to have the exterminator actually spray INSIDE the house rather than just the parameter. The windows were not properly installed and both of them consistantly had mold surrounding them. The 10 foot cealings are there because there isn't ANY incelation between stories. You would have thought I had elephants for upstairs neighbors. Not to mention the fact that I was sleeping in a live porn movie, I could hear them at all hours of the night!
I personally lived next door to one of the maintenance man who had been on call that weekend and couldn't get my air condition fixed because he was out getting drunk. For such a new complex, compared to others in the area, I'm surprised there are so many problems. I can't believe they have the audacity to raise the rent for a 2/2 over $60 from one year to the next. I do hope that Bellamay Grand isn't advertising as a "Safe Community" because they are gated. The gates are NEVER working!
