This has been a great experience for me. I have lived all over Gainesville and Bellamay Grand is the only place I have ever considered renewing my lease. The complex is well laid out, and management is friendly and professional, even when there is a problem. The appliances were the best in any apartment I have rented (flat top stove, self cleaning oven, GE dishwasher and refrigerator). We bought fans for the bedrooms and maintenance installed them quickly and for free.
I didn't like the water company used by the complex. They didnt' send me a bill for two months and then tried to charge me fees. I finally got it straightened out, but would still prefer to use GRU in the future. My only other complaint was that the trash tended to build up around the compactor. Management has since raised trash rates to get it picked up more often, but it still builds quickly.
There was always plenty of parking, even at 4 in the morning when I got home from work, and I rarely had to park even one stairway away, let alone a building.
The pool area is beautiful, and the gym is always empty. Management often does events for the residents for free, and they are always very nice.
I loved living here, and would renew if I wasn't transfered to another city.
