Just as other reviews have said, my apartment was NOTHING like the model. I almost vomited when I walked into my apt. and saw dead roaches all over the carpet, nasty old, falling apart fixtures, old appliances, and an overall dirty apartment. It took them quite awhile (months) to come in and put in tile and blinds that were supposed to be in before we moved in or very shortly thereafter. The walls are paper thin- you hear your neighbor's every move practically, and if you walk right outside your apartment you can hear what your roommate is saying loud and clear in low speaking tones. Our building gets flooded every time it rains hard, and I basically cannot leave my apartment unless I want to get soaked up to my ankles. Our friends got robbed shortly after they moved in, and many of our neighbors are sketchy nasty people. They have made a lot of improvements, but honestly it still is not worth it! It should be a hell of a lot cheaper for what we put up with. Something that might not seem too big of a deal when you sign your lease is not having a washer/dryer in your apt...if you have had this before and think you will be fine without it, think again! It is worth it to pay a little more and have that convenience.
