I have lived here for two full years and I used to like it, but the Gables are being turned into Condos and with that comes new management and staff. None of the new people have clue what is going on and worse, they do NOT care. Maintenance never comes when they are supposed to - the people around here have no reguard for resident's time or schedules. Residents are not kept up to date of important matters (like that we should make our rent checks out to a different person now). The promised ammenitites are non-existant - the tanning bed is shut down, the game room / pool table are closed for "rennovations," and for the longest time there was NO gate guard at all. And residents were never told what was going on. Everyone who lives here is paying for one of the most expensive apartments in Gainesville and we are getting virtually NOTHING for it. When I asked about the tanning bed, they got upset with me and told me to go get a membership somewhere. Our "gate guard" is now a 70 year old gray haired woman who sits there and reads magizines. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The inept management will treat you like crap!!!
