I lived there during my freshman year, and it was a horrible. The apartment wasn't clean at all when I moved in. In fact the former residents kitchen was full of their stuff. There is a hive of roaches that doesn't seen to go away even with maintenance. The furniture, if u didn't dish out the extra $15, was horrendous and in terrible shape. Vintage has it's limits. The refurnishing fee is a joke. The internet is in constant disarray, my roommates and I got our own service after the first semester. This was mostly do to the internet being down 30-40% of the time. The computer lab always seems to be out of ink. The management is friendly, but some of them act like they own the place. There are many violations of the lease present when I moved here. The roommate matching is the biggest joke of all. I stated I wanted quiet people with similar majors, what I got were party animals and heavy drinkers. My parents had it changed to more subtle roommates. Other than it's a value for it's price. The buses frequent and easy to use and shopping is close. If you like to stay out a lot, this is the place for you. But if your the studious type, then well make a wiser choice.
