I agree with the other review on this site. I too was promised a lot of things that have since been ignored upon moving in and paying rent. I actually conducted an experiment in regards to these promises because the management basically tells me that I'm either lying or I grossly misunderstood what they were advertising. I had a friend call as a potential resident with questions in regards to optinos for cable and internet besides what is provided because I have yet to receive a modem after living there for 2 weeks and the reception of my cable is attrocious. Needless to say, she was told that she could use any satellite provider that she wanted with no problem, etc. I then as a resident went in with the same question of course with an answer that grossly deviated from what was told to my friend. Originally, I was told that my only option was to contact DirectTV, which is who they use and see if anything could be done. I informed them of my experiment so they backpedaled and said that I could use any satellite provider, but I cannot attach anything to the building etc, and therefore, I may be placed in an area where I would not receive reception. To further complicate my situation, the manager had the gaul to ask me what kind of TV I have, insinuating that I have a poor TV, which is causing my reception problems. Well, I just purchased a brand new TV, but that is beside the point. What manager asks questions like that? An arrogant one I will answer because I was informed of the fact that he has a plasma and it looks wonderful, as if I give two flying leaps what kind of reception he is receiving because I am pretty sure that he would make sure that he has good reception and as long as he does then everyone else must, right? Come on. Additionally, as a prospective resident I was told that the cable/internet package of $125, would include an unlimited number of receivers (free of charge except for service fee each month) and 256 channels once capacity had been met. Upon moving in, it turns into you will have the option to upgrade to 256 channels, pay for receivers, etc. I don't care what the excuses are as far as corporate decisions and what not, you should not be advertising amenities that are not going to be there. Not to mention, who has ever heard of satellite TV without receivers?
