When I moved into my apartment, it was disgusting. The bathroom was filthy, my bedroom blinds were broken, and the carpet was coming up in the doorway, revealing dangerous nails that could be stepped on. Sterling University Glades charged me $50 extra for electricity overages every single billing period even though there is no way this was possbile. Upon moving out, 3 MONTHS LATER, I received a bill from them for $300 for (what else) electricity overages, clean up fees, and repair/maintenance fees. This apartment complex claimed that they had to replace blinds in my room (which were broken when I moved in) and that they had to hire someone to clean my bathroom. My mother and I spent 3 hours cleaning the bathroom before I left. They reduced our fee to $48 from $300 after my mother and I were on the phone with them for 2 days. These people swindle you in every way they possibly can. Be careful!! I would not recommend this apartment complex to my worst enemy.
