The apartment itself is spacious. The pool and the 'gym' are nice, plus there is a sand volleyball court that I've never seen used. The exterior of the buildings is filthy. I live ont he seonc floor and the "front porch" area where the 4 units have the front doors is just nasty. Trash everywhere, rotting food, and animal feces (at least I'm hoping it is some animal) have never been cleaned in the last 10 months. The pet policy is no dogs and one cat per apartment, but I know plenty of people with more than one cat and I see dogs all the time. The people in the office treat every tenant like a complete moron. I signed a 12-month lease, but they somehow decided I should only have a 10-month lease. I signed Sept '04, called the office in May '05 for my term date, and got 7/20/05 as the date I have to be out by. When I asked how they got this number, they said they had already rented my unit to someone else. WTF, mate!? Live here only if you are 100% sure you will never have to deal with the management after signing. If they promise you some sort of deal, like less per month or no deposit, just realize they will try to stiff you elsewhere or won't tell you the details of your deal so you're surprised with rude notes on your door for the world to see. And don't ever accidentally lock yourself out! They'll tell you it is your problem, call a locksmith!
