I just moved into Stoneridge in August 2006, and I love it here! I have a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhouse with my two roommates, and it is very spacious. When we moved in, it was completely clean, carpets and walls. The walls get stained pretty easily, however, it is really easy to clean them off with water. The location is great. I know it's not "a walk to campus", but the bus route is right outside the complex, an extremely convenient thing. The buses come like every 5-10 minutes. Not to mention, the complex is set right on off of Archer Rd., which is a main road in Gainesville. There is everything, from restaurants to clothing stores across the street. I'm telling you, it is extremely convenient. The three bedrooms are good sizes. I would like for them to be more even, as far as the size, but we all have our preferences. I have the mid-sized room, and it's nice. The closet isn't the biggest for a girl with a lot of clothes, but drawers help with that. The living room is spacious, and it's nice to find an apartment that comes with a washer and dryer! The maintenance people are excellent...anytime we have had a problem, they were quick to respond. The only major thing I can complain about it how much they tow people here..but then again, this is Gainesville. It happens everywhere here! lol. But yea, we have had a few parties, and have had about 7 cars get towed total.. sucks. You have to make sure your friends park in Visitor parking. NO JOKE!! Overall, I think you will really like it here. The townhouses are a part of the old phase, and I love it. So, if you're getting a flat (in the new phase) I know you'll be pleased. I was looking for a new place to live next year because I'm not living with the same roommates, however, I'm almost positive we are staying here, because it's the best around for the money.
oh, another negative besides the towing. the gym equipment isn't that good. Some is broken, and most is old..
