All I can say about living here is that you get what you pay for. I signed for 399/month after freshman year in the dorms. I live in the 4br/flat style apartment, and have re-signed for a second year at $425. I think the price is fair considering you get reliable internet service, and it includes all utilities. Me and my room mates (all guys) have never gone over once on the alloted amount and always get a few bucks back each month. THe maintainence is quick and friendly, and the office staff is cheerful and helpful, and provides free breakfast when rent is due. One thing I loved about this apartment is having 6 full days to pay rent before its considered late. The provided furniture is outdated however and the bedrooms are small. THe walls are thin enough to hear your room mates but I have never had a problem with adjacent apartments, unless it was a gamenight or weekend. I have never found a problem finding a spot for my car, but it has been hit 3 times due to the tightness of the spaces. I also feel the guest parking is absurd. The guest parking is scarce and also reqires an office pass... rediculous. If my corner apartment were not conveniently located right next to the public laundry room, Id be a little more frustrated. Laundry gets expensive living here, thats all I can say. THe pool facilities are nice but tend to get trashed by disrepectful guests and visitors on the weekends. The close distance to campus is its saving grace and probably wouldnt get much business if it were distanced farther from campus. It is conveniently located near campus and is a great deal for undergrads but i dont plan on being here for my senior year.
