I have lived in the Courtyards for two years now and I cant wait to leave. My car has been scratched and hit at least 3 times. The parking spots are extremely small. This year, the office decided to charge people 50.00 a month if they wanted to reserve a spot. Well, there arent enough spots for everyone anyways. They didnt even get enough people from the Courtyards to buy the spaces, so they rented them out to people who dont even live here. Its a b*tch to find a spot, especially in the early morning or at night. The rooms are soo small and the walls are so thin that i can hear my roommate typing on her keyboard. Its ridiculous. We always go over our electrical allotment...trust me, they dont give you enough money. The office staff used to be nice and care, but once we renewed and they had us locked in, they treat us like crap. We always have issues with appliances or broken beer bottles in our backyard from the people above us and they don't want to help. The only nice people here are the maintenance guys. They do a really good job. Also, this place enforces no rules. Apparently there is a night manager who lives here...and if you have a problem w/ noise or w/e else, he/she is supposed to help. Well he/she is just another college student, so they dont care. Weekends are crazy. I dont mind parties, but they go all night and everyone in Gainesville comes here. Since the building is a courtyard, everything echoes. If you want to get more than 3 hours of sleep, dont live here. The building is also built really crappy. There has been more than one occasion when beer was leaking down the inside of our bedroom windows from a keg upsatirs. DO NOT LIVE HERE...it may seem cheap (419.00 a month) and close to campus, but its not worth it. Come here and party instead...just do not give these people your money.
