I live with my boyfriend so I pretty much feel safe all the time because he is always with me. And protects me. I haven't had any problems so far with criminals or anyting but I doubt my neighbors are "the nicest people ever." They seem kind of criminal-ish. I would not recommend this for woman living alone. As soon as I moved in I had to change the toilet seat, which was cracked. Everything was clean in the apartment even though I passed it over again. The carpet had some stains. Even though the apartment is small, it's great for a couple or something. You can hear what your neighbors are doing: talking, watching tv, playing video games, having sex. Not good for me! Also when I moved in the lighting to the sign was not well lit but then they changed it so it made it easier to see WHERE I LIVED at night time. Lighting around the complex at night is kind of bad. There ARE lights but not a good idea to go outside. I've also had problems with parking because all of my neighbors friends decide to park in MY spot. You are allowed 2 spots per apartment....they take 5. Also, there is a laundry facility, that's cool. I've been to THE pool (only one pool) and it looks dirty to me everytime.
Rent is cheap, but I'd definitely check it out before you decide to move in.
