Review for Sterling University Glades Apartments

The apartments are tiny, we arrived it was filthy things were falling apart the ceiling fan is shimmed with two 8x11 sheets of paper folded over on itself, maintenance said they couldn't do anything about it. The furniture is broken if not then it has paint overspray on it. There is water damage on the ceiling which is cracking and probably has mold on top of it. The walls are actually more soundproof within the apartment than the exterior walls, outside noise is horrendous. People are always at the pool regardless of the "pool hours" Staff refuses to take any action whatsoever instead asks you to call the police. If you put in a service request many times they are "out" of the part you need and can take weeks to fix any problems. The furnace/ac filter was installed backwards and was 2 inches too small not covering the entire area inside the unit. We were forced to purchase our own. (im not sure if this is illegal on their part since that could be a health issue) Problems too numerous to list. Extremely unhappy have talked with management on several occasions including two formal letters with no results whatsoever. Save yourself the trouble and do not bother with this sad excuse for a housing development.
