Review Title:   Still Renting Here

We have had no major problems renting here (going on 3rd lease). I have been reading the ratings and can't believe some of the things that I am seeing.

I live in the back where the "dirty pool" is and I don't see that it is always dirty. There are trees all around the pool, yes, and they are going to get in the pool. So what, they can't control every leaf, clean them out when you get in there (it's just a leaf) the pool itself is not dirty. The pool is properly maintained.

The pool area is there for the tenants and we are the ones that are to use it and clean it up when we leave. If it is trashed, it's our own fault. The apartment complex just bought new furniture for the pool deck, wonder how long it will take before it is destroyed and then it will be posted on here that they have horrible pool furniture and they wouldn't even replace it.

We have never had any problems getting anything fixed, no more than 24-48 hours (unless an emergency, then they were there right away).

The area is quiet. If there are any problems in the complex or in the surrounding area, they notify us by letter.

They have in the past done little things for us like pizza parties and goody bags and things for the children.

The staff is not all that bad. They have their days just like anyone else on the planet. No one an say they haven't had bad days at work.

They have recently renovated the apartments and I must say that was one of the biggest pains in my a** but you know what, I dealt with it, got over it, and now the place looks better, and the pipes have been replaced. They could have done like some places and let your lease run out, told you to move, done the renovations, you come back pay twice as much for the same old a** apartment.

The ever loving tree issue. Yes, they have these horrible trees there that leave these red sap dots all over your vehicles. It is horrible. People complained about it. Management called and found out that they are protected trees and can not be cut down. They sent a letter out that said they could not cut them down and to take other measures by parking somewhere away from the trees if you could or to invest in a car cover that they would not be held liable for any damages.

I can honestly say that the only 2 complaints that I have had the time that I have lived there is that when I moved in there, the brilliant person/people that painted our walls decided to paint over the dust in all the corners of the walls. Therefore, it looks dirty on the ceiling in those areas. The other is that when they did the re-pipe, they had to paint where they cut the holes in the wall and now that is a different shade (only in the bathroom behind the wall)no one notices but me because it is my apartment but I still see it.

This is not a bad place to live and I continue to live here until we get a house in the next year or so.
