I am in the military and it now convient for me to keep jumping form apartment to apartment so I have had to put up with their nonsense! I have been living here for 2 years and my move in maintenance still hasn't been completed. My second closet rack is broken and I'm scared my clothes are going to fall. When I come home I have to fight for a parking space. One day I was woke up by a fire alarm and when I walked around my whole apartment was smoky. When I looked at the ceiling fans they was black soot all of them, over my rotating fans, my dryer had black soot in it and my clothes were all black and all soot was all over the carpet. Every time I sneezed I black soot was on the tissue. I called the rental office and told them I needed my apartment inspected because the neighbor down stairs probably started a fire. It took the maintenance man one whole week to get there and he said it was the hot water heater and he vacuumed it out but did noting to the ceiling fans or the vents. I then went to the office to inform them and this one rude lady by the name of Karen ignored me the whole entire time until I said something then she got rude and said the maintenance guys would do something if they can because they were busy. It has been almost a month and my carpets, ceiling fans and ceiling are still black. One entire week I got locked behind the gate because it would respond and the gym is locked and there is never access to the gym. The dumpster is always stopped up and overflowing and when you come through the gates when they are just standing open for anybody to come through, the smell is horrendous. This is ridiculous and I would never tell anybody about this apartment except to tell them not to go there. Also my master bedroom closet rack was broken and the mainteanance man came in and cursed and said he was going get some tools to fix it and never came back. I called the over night maintenance number and they said they would come out because the manager wouldn't pay them overtime. I got into a big fuss with the manager, called the apartments organization to no avail and better businness bureau in which they were ignored. My closet rack was fixed 2 weeks later. Now they are putting new roofs in and say if they damage our furniture it will be no fault of theirs. they put a notice on our doors the night before the actual work. i called the office and a Nicole snobbly told me that they will not be responsible and that i wil know when they are working on my roof when the dumpster is placed outside my complex. Also recently I saw a bag of drugs by the mailbox and there are new neighbors who hang outside all night and blast their music from their vehicles.
