I moved to Gardens of Bridgehampton back in Oct. 2011. Michael and Anna had just started a few days prior to me moving in. The old management company was never in the office and never returned any of my calls. So before I was due to move in I did not get a chance to even view my unit. However, I had a very hectic work schedule so I just had no choice but to trust that my unit would be move in ready to my standards. Well after sitting down talking to Michael and Anna I felt reassured that even though my application and move in experience was dreadful I was going to be in very good hands. From day one Michael and Anna have been hands on from helping me with issues I had with my unit personally themselves. To lending a helping hand when I was transferring a big screen TV from my storage to my apartment. I always see Michael out on the property not just looking but getting dirty moving, fixing, changing, or helping someone. Michael and Anna do not mind going over and above what I think a normal average property manager has done and will do. When I think of Michael and Anna I think of perfection. They have a wonderful goal in mind for this community and I think they are well on their way to obtaining that goal. I myself want to have a wonderful, peaceful, clean, safe environment to live in. Some people (meaning residents) don't take pride in where they live and don't care who they live around or what goes on around them. If we had more residents like Michael and Anna I think half the battle would be won. It is not just up to management to keep this community looking beautiful and safe, but up to the residents as well. So the next time you want to harass management about something with the community. Make sure as a resident you have done your due diligence. Example of such would be: if you have pets (CLEAN UP BEHIND THEM AND KEEP THEM ON A LEASH WHEN WALKING THEM ON THE PROPERTY), If you have guest over (make sure they respect the community as well), If you drop trash (CLEAN UP BEHIND YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY), If you see a neighbor in need or crisis (OFFER A HELPING HAND OR TRY TO GET HELP), If you are coming through the gate make sure it’s on the right side and never try to beat someone through it. THAT WAY WE WON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE GATE BEING BROKEN EVERY OTHER DAY! Point is if you want to live in a great community respect everyone and do your part in making the community an awesome place to reside. DO NOT TRY TO BLAME MANAGEMENT ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE DOING AN EXTRODIANARY JOB!!!!! So I will close by saying Michael and Anna you are a wonderful management team. None like I have ever met. You will not be able to please everyone so I say to you. Continue to do what you are doing because you are what management should look and act like...... GOOD JOB! Signed Angelia L. Bates PROUDLY!!!!

I moved in here earlier this month and I have to tell you this place is great!! I love it here! So far I have had one maintenance issue. I made one phone call and the maintenance was at my apartment 15 minutes later, and this was after 8p! Love it! My apartment is huge and the people here are really nice. I looked around this area and this was the best deal (cable, wifi, water, and trash included). I could not be happier with my decision!

This place is the pits! Management changed for the community but you still go through the same staff if you own. They are incompentent and lazy as all get up. There were flies in my house and I don't even have a pet. I broke out and then they finally had pest control spray. The staff will tell you anything just to get you out of the office. They never answer the phone. They let people's animals run wild without leashes. I hope a person is never attacked. There have been rodent issues and they do NOTHING about it. They try to make you think you're crazy.
Management just changed so hopefully they turn this place around. The gates are always broken. The hallways need to be cleaned. I can not wait until my lease is up. We pay way too much money for this crap. They lure you in with everything you get with our rent but it is NOT worth it. The internet never works but I can say we have great cable! Move somewhere else please!
Valet Trash - Roaches _Racoons

I found it amusing when I found out that the trash mans policy was to tell residents not to put there trash put until rearly in the morning.
Watch Billy the Exterminator if you need tips...
His policy is for residents to keep their trash inside because racoons were breaking into the valet trash recepticals.
He made this statement even after locks were placed on each unit.
I have lived here over three years and I have not seen a racoon, althougth I do not doubt that they exist.
Did anyone ever hear about exterminators?
You can trap racoons.
Also they do not spray inside or out for pest.
Just keep your trash in doors and all weeke3nds and feed the roaches.
Also there is a very large dog population, many of which are very large and above the maximum size.
There is dog feces all over the place.
You can;t walk in the grass without stepping in it.
They do not spray outside.
The dog feces is a breeded ground for infectios diseaes.
Parvo is spread from Racoon Feces and dog feces.
I knew of a couple that bought a home and they let their dog out in the back yard.
Their dog developed parvo and nearly died. It cost them big bucks.
Aparently the feces that carries the parvo virus can stay in the ground for many years. This happended to case the case in this situation.
There had not been a dog in that yard for years but the virus lived on and nearly killed their poor dog.
If you do not spray outside and you tell people to keep their trash in the house you are only asking for trouble.
I take it that the Valet Trash guy is not an entomologist or a vet. I hear that he likes to eavesdrop on people.
It is so comforting to know that you have someone like that going through your trash...

Thank God for the new management!!! New management took over mid December and already they are a blessing. Maintenance has handled issues that I have been trying to get fixed by the old company for months. New management completed it within 2 days of my call! The girls handling things have been very helpful in answering my questions, etc. You can see that they really care. So relieved and I feel much better about living here.

My wife and I moved here two years ago, downsizing from a 4br/2ba house which we sold after our kids were grown. We have found The Gardens of Bridgehampton to be the perfect place to live, both for the spaciousness of the very unique floor-plans, and the conveniences offered by the excellent location. We are less than a mile from more than thirty restaurants, also a 24 screen "megaplex" movie theater, and less than a half mile from St. Luke's Hospital. The staff here are friendly and always try to accommodate resident needs and correct any necessary deficiencies in a very prompt manner. I really think that any bad reviews here should be taken with a grain of salt, as they must be from disgruntled former tenants or owners. I recommend this place highly to anyone wishing to live in a comfortable, pet friendly, relaxed environment.

While my neighbors are very nice, there are a few things that have made this place go down very quickly. 1. Hallways - they are rarely pressure cleaned; garbage and stain filled hallways are the "norm"; 2. the landscaping is horrible - the name of the development is "Gardens"...not so. There is hardly any grass, mostly weeds and the dog poop is ridiculous; 3. the lights in the parking lot are always out; 4. office management is consistently rude - when asking when are the hallways going to be cleaned, you don't get an honest answer...it's always "we will be doing so in 2 weeks"; 5. the noise level is high - meaning the walls are very thin, as I can hear my neighbors - I've had to literally move out of the master bedroom and sleep in the guest room. I stronly caution anyone looking at this development - at least until some of these items are addressed.
It's sad to see because this is a new development that has great potential, and in the beginning was great. Because no one really cared to keep it up, it has taken a quick downturn.
Everything's GREAT... except for the staff.

I'm an owner, not a renter. The location is great. Quiet atmosphere. Little to no parking problems. Looks beautiful.
Too bad the staff does NOT match the environment. I'm one of the most lenient and easygoing guys you will ever meet. I've given these people multiple chances. They are completly irresponsible and unorganized. They never call you back. They don't remember appointments. If you need them, just FORGET ABOUT IT. I needed them for ONE THING, and it took about a month to take care of.
So for renters, maybe it's true to stay away. For owners, I never really need them. And that's a **** of a good thing for me.
