Apartment Reviews for Indigo Apartments - Jacksonville

We had lived here at indigo for two years now and we love it! The staff is always very helpful and friendly!

I moved here from NY. I know a good thing when I see one - this place is well managed and beautiful. For the price, I am very pleased. I signed the lease without seeing the place (I was very nervous) and I don't regret a thing. It's exactly as the website and leasing agent said it would be. I highly recommend this place! The pool is great, hot tub, huge BBQ grill to share, billiards and dart board. Gym, free coffee and freshly-baked cookies! Management is friendly and responsive so far. I've been here almost three weeks now. The neighbors seem respectful and pleasant, young couples mostly, some children. I have a few young guys living downstairs that annoyed me at first but I'm building an understanding with them. The only thing I found questionable is the concession agreement in the lease but I guess that's standard practice in the industry. (But being financially responsible should eliminate that fear). After reading so many stupid reviews that weren't so helpful, I figured I should spare a few minutes to help others. I've been driving around town and pretty much all of Jacksonville is composed of these type of communities, and from the looks of it they are all rather nice. And as the cable guy told me, everything in Jax is 20 minutes away no matter where you are, so location isn't the most important thing. My advice: find the right price.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The apartments are very nice. I agree with other reviewers that the office staff could use some lessons in customer service. My chief complaint it that for a new complex, the noise level is ridiculous. I'm surprised that the units weren't better insulated to reduce the noise level. I can hear people walking above me, and if my next door neighbor is talking on the phone, I can hear that as well. For this reason alone, I highly doubt I will renew my lease here. If noise doesn't bother you, this is the perfect place for you. If it does, I highly suggest you look elsewhere, or make sure you get a unit on the third floor.

The community itself is very aesthetically pleasing and the location is great, however... The staff is awful! They completely lack any pride in the community and customer service is mediocre at best. The hot tub is almost always broken and when I ask them about it they are conveniently unaware of the problem so they can get away with saying, "We'll be sure to notify maintenance immediately." The grill often doesn't work, the grill brushes are disgusting, the pool sticks are all broken, and the staff is often nowhere to be found during normal working hours. When we first moved in our gate clicker didn't work and we were told that we had to replace the battery ourselves or wait for new clickers to arrive because they were out... It took a month... WTF!?! One night I was working out and the cleaning staff showed up and kicked me off the treadmill because they needed to mop during normal gym hours. Seriously?? Another thing that bothers me is that residents often leave their garbage outside of their door for several hours until it is convenient for them to make a trip to the garbage bin... Gross!!! Like I said, the staff seems to have absolutely zero pride in their community. It's a shame too because other than the pathetic staff this really is the nicest community for the price that we have found anywhere around.

I moved down from up north at the beginning of the summer, and found reviews incredibly helpful as I didn't know the area so I wanted to write one for anyone in a similar situation. Indigo has been fantastic. I don't understand some of the reviews. You may have a noisey neighbor but that is not the apartments fault, and they handle complaints very seriously. The buildings and grounds are extremely well kept. I haven't had an issue with bugs and most of the neighbors are friendly. The location is fantastic, safe, close to anything you want to get to. I recommend Indigo Apartments 100 %!

Since I have moved in I have enjoyed living here. Although the previous office staff waasn't very pleasant it has really come around. The community looks great, it's priced right with other communities and is fun to live at. I disagree with alot of you reviewers. My guess is you weren't getting your way and decided to act like a baby about it. Its an apartment, so you will hear noise at times but overall it is worth the money and a great place to live. I approve!!

Contrary to some other reviews, living at Indigo has been great for me and my family. Its location is great, the floor plans are HUGE, the price is reasonable and I feel the maintenance and office staff are part of what makes it great to live here. I feel it is unfair to say that this place is horrible. I would bet by the immature sound of your email, they are glad to see you go too! Move here!

My husband and I have lived here for a year and actually decided to move down the rd to The Circle at Bartram Park. We move in 2 weeks and wish we were staying at Indigo!! We love it here even though it is a bit over-priced. We wish we would have just renewed our lease instead of moving to save a little money every month. I've never had noice problems but they may be because we live on a corner unit. We are surrounded by garages and only 1 apartment above us. We hear nothing. The staff have been pretty helpful with things we have needed over the last year. We have never had any maintenance issues. And the over-all appearance of the community is kept up.

I disagree with the reviewer below. There is a police officer that is assigned to this community that makes it safe. Every once in awhile late at night I do hear people racing down the main road, but this is a very quiet and safe community most of the time. Parties used to get out of hand at night before they hired a patrolman. The walls are not thin at all...I do hear some of my neighbors activity but I dont know what else to expect in an apartment. I have never heard what the person below has heard which is people "urinating" through the walls. The people in the office are snobby to my husband, however the maintainance staff is great. there is a place to wash your car, and free wifi in the clubhouse area. There is never a problem finding a parking space. The homes are beautiful and match with our modern taste. I feel at home in this community, and I am a very picky person.
