Apartment Review for Lindsey Terrace Apartments

We moved in late Feb. Right away we realized they moved us in the section 8 building eventhough we are NOT section 8 renters. Now I have no issue with people who have section 8 in general but these people love to let their kids run free, color with nail polish on the stair walls, and leave their trash all over the stairs and lawn. They love to have loud parties especially on Wednesday night. Also someone's rims got jacked in the middle of the night a few weeks ago. Now while all of this is irritating and gross its not anything to break a lease over you just know you wont be signing one again the following year or be buying nice rims whike you live here.

However about 2 weeks in we started seeing roaches everwhere in the kitchen. We found then in our silverware drawer, our cabinets with our clean dishes and even got in our food and we had to throw it away. They've done 2 "cleanouts" to try and get rid of them which really just meant they sprayed in the cabinets, drawers and pantry...I watched them. So they didn't even really do a full clean out. After the second clean out and just as I started putting stuff away again we saw more roaches so today they are doing a fogging. We've lived here a month and a half and and for almost a month of it our kitchen has been packed up so they can take care of the problem half assed. They refuse to spray the whole building at once so basically they just scurry the roaches from apartment to apartment. Oh and when I called for wrh reality fax number pat told me " THEY WERE WRH REALITY." which I find odd since I make the checks out to mindset terrace each month. Their pest issue has cost us a lot of money causing us to be late on rent, replacing food, having to eat out on clean out/ fogging days , and being told that we need to replace small appliances. I did not ask for compensation for any if that but did ask to be met halfway on the late fees as i assumed it was reasonable. This is where geena comes in. If you have to deal with this woman God help you. She is very child like and gets very offended if you say ANYTHING bad about her apartment complex. I would also like to say I lived here about 5 years ago and it was NEVER this bad. This place has gone very downhill! If I were you is stay away! Please pay the xtra money and live somewhere nicer,safer and cleaner. This place is one step up from the slums!
