Apartment Reviews for North Beach On Kernan - Jacksonville

This is not an expensive apartment building for the space and amenities they offer. Yes, the walls here are thin compared to other places we've been in, but the other complaints I've been reading are rediculous. Like the gates in this gated community are always broken....that is in every gated community I've ever lived in. It's the same everywhere. Any place you rent with a gate will have malfunctions. So expect it. The fact is that it's not broken every week or every other week like other places way more expensive then here. Also, the landscaping is very pleasent. If you think it's no big deal to see trees and green grass, go to other places and pay more money to have no view and only soggy mulch or a parking lot to walk on. Then you will appreciate it. Also there are plenty of potty stations for your pets to clean up after. If you think that's not important, then again, go someplace else, pay $500 more a month in rent and not be able to open your windows because if you do, you will have your whole apartment smell like the dogs that just passed your apartment that the owners didn't pick up after. Except for the thin walls and the people who live on the ground floor who think they shouldn't hear people walking around above them, this place is worth the money. One thing to remember, if you live below someone, you will hear people above you. If you don't want to hear them, get a top level apartment and that won't happen. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. The hot tub has a timer that you set yourself so if you come here after hours, you turn on the hot tub, yourself. I am happy here. All the complaints I'm reading happen everywhere. The key is to be happy on the inside because nobody or nothing else will make you happy. It starts with you. I also read some woman living alone and the maintenance men came in on her, that happends everywhere. I was at my last apartment here in Jax and the same thing happend to me. If you tell the front office, it won't happen again. You are in an apartment. You are renting their space. You don't own it. If you don't want any of these things to happen then buy a house or a condo and help the economy. I can keep going but I won't. I love this place. (except the thin walls)
