Whoever wrote this "made up rat story" is a BOLD FACE LIAR!!! Go ahead set up your cameras and record a RAT!! Where are those pictures you said you were going to copy and paste with this comment? I have lived at River City Landing for 6 yrs. and have NEVER had problems with a rat, nor have any of my neighbors. You are probably some pathetic a@@ resident who can't pay their rent,has no life & nothing better to do than sit up on computer and bash your own apartment community!! Your probably fixing to be EVICTED!! Get a life, and stop lying!! Oh yeah, I wanted to say thank you River City Landing for the Egg Hunt yesterday. My kids really enjoyed it, and so did I! It was nice to have surprises for the adults. You guys are always doing fun stuff for us residents, thank you!!!
Let me just say when I first moved there I had no problem with the place, it was as good as it could ever be, slowly but surely things started to show up, <P>
1) When you took a shower the water would fill the tub and by the time you are about to get out, the tub is ready for you to take a bath. <P>
2) The the garbage disposal went, they couldnt fix it. <P>
3) The light fixture in the kitchen was getting loose and you can see it hang on one side, so you are in constant fear while cooking you going to get hit by the thing. <P>
4) The closet sliding doors were always comming off the henge, I as I learned did most my neighbors just took the doors off. <P>
5) They didnt have a door stopper, but had a plastic disk on the wall, when the glue got unstuck from it, it fell off and I found a hole in the wall that they didnt patch but just covered it up. <P>
6) The AC kept going on the fritze, there had to be more than 5 times I called about the AC actually be frozen stiff. <P>
Now with all these things going wrong, I had called more than once for a maintance guy, at first they would come out within 24 hours of being called and it was one guy, he was black and cross eyed but nice as can be. My second year there I found out they fired him and they hired alot of other maintence people and that is when things went down the drain, they only spoke spanish and you cant understand a word what they say. And it would take a week instead of a day to get to you. Then when they finally come, they would try and fix things but they wouldnt fix what you needed fix so you had to call again. My mother has more mouth than I do and she was the one doing the threatening most the time. <P>
The yard was kept up, the garbage was kept up, it was a pretty place to be, the livingroom was huge (which is one of my HAVE TO HAVE's), the bedrooms were decent size, the floorplans of the apartment was smooth. Looks wise I had no issues. <P>
Then here comes the neighbors, if you hate screaming kids and you like peace and quiet this is not a place for you, I have called more than once for these parents to take thier kids to the playground instead of outside thier door, with thier screaming and yelling right where the windows to all the neighbors are. The kids did alot of abuse to the ducks as well, kicking and chasing them. <P>
I even had downstairs neighbors that called all kinds of stuff on me, I had a notice on my door telling me that I needed to go to the front desk and pay a pet fee for a dog I didnt have just cause the downstairs neighbors called in and said they heard dog barking all hours of the night from upstairs. They would even hold parties in the middle of the week right outside screaming at each other in spanish. <P>
So what Im telling you is the neighbors arent respectfull to other neighbors. <P>
If you want a quiet place that you can open your back door, let fresh air in and just enjoy a quiet day, aint going to happen!!! <P>
