Apartment Reviews for Spicewood Springs Apartments - Jacksonville

The complex is very quiet, has a nice lake, fitness center, laundry facilities, a paved bike/walk path, tennis court, pool and clubhouse. For the price you pay, these apartments are a real bargain. Plus, the community is gated, which helps deter crime and wandering strangers at night. I always felt safe here. <P>
During my time there, I only had 2 problems: my air conditioner's drainage line was clogged and constantly dripping water (this happened about 3 times and was never really repaired to my satisfaction, although they did try) and my upstairs neighbor broke their fishtank which soaked my ceiling and stained it brown (I was not liable for the damages and none of my things were ruined, thankfully). <P>
There was one leasing agent who was the rudest, most hateful woman I have ever met. I sincerely hope she does not work there anymore. She knew I had a 6 hour drive to my new place when I moved out, but she tried to make me wait 2 hours until their precious lunch break was over to come check my apartment and sign me out on move out day. I demanded and insisted that she come now, which she did, but she glowered at me and called me names under her breath the whole time. <P>
Otherwise, I was very happy there. <P>
