The apartments leave some things to be desired, like there never seems to be enough parking and some tenants have more than the limited 1 car and so their neighbors have to suffer, and its a bit noisy, you can hear sounds from your neighbors- but not much more than any other apartment. The playgrounds are nice and they create a sense of community for children to make friends who live near by. the pools are nice enough, and grounds keepers are out cleaning up the garbage everyday. Ive lived in other apartments in LC and that just never happens. And mostly tenats are told that pests are just unavoidable, but when i complained about the problem shortly after moving in, they actuly did something about it! Maitanice is well attended to, I havent had any problems yet w/ my apartment, which makes me feel like they have taken care of the place in general. If you consider your options around LC you will notice that for the price this is all around the best choice.

my sister lives here with two kids , they go to school she walks to work everyday. she feels it safe for her and iv'e come to visit often as i can because i miss them dearly, but yes around there you see all that bad stuff happening if you want it to. you may complain here and there but you must not done it right , because my sister complains just once and it's fix they come by to pick up u dirty cigarette butts and beer bottles and empty bags all over but some people have no pride in there living situations, but if you gave a half of a rats *** you would take care of ur living building keeping it clean and a nice place to be. and me sisters kids found great and wounderfull kids to play with not all of this is bad it only that way because you want it to be.

The only thing I would like to see improved would be the security issues. I dont think they understand a parked deputy car does not work... Also the windows and doors let in a lot of air from outside. <P>

I have lived at Windsong for several years. I must say the staff is always courteous and professional. The maintenace staff is prompt and efficient. They try to have resident activities planned and the turn out is great. It is the perfect opportunity to meet your neighbors. If you are looking for some place where that you can call home Windsong a nice place. Reading some of the other reviews lead you to believe Windsong is a bad place. If you treat it like it was your own home and help take care of your area. You can't expect the management to be all places at all times. I have never had a problem getting any response from the management office. <P>

Windsong Apts are nice. The insides are roomy. The appliances are newer - gas stove. Unfortunatley the walls are thin. This is INCOME BASED complex, so if you make alot you ain't getting in. At times the place can be peaceful - the fair gorunds are right around the corner so a couple times of the year you'll hear the county fair and rodeo noise. The other noise, well not to be stereotypical, but low income familes do live here so you'll get the "ghetto" scene once in awhile. Overall, nice to live in if your getting a home built or if youre a temp-contractor. The office folk are pretty good and maintenance is pretty quick about fixing things. <P>
