Review for Chaparral Apartments

OK, my electric bill runs 350.00 every month because the air conditioner does not work properly. They will NOT fix it. NO one from coorparate will even speak with me. All my other utilities except electric cut off becuase i cant afford it. They say, oh i live here and my bill is that much so...it's ok! NO ITS NOT OK! Parking, terrible. Landscape, weeds and sand. 4 pools and only 1 open. work out room closed at 6pm every night.Wood deck, falling apart. Mold has made all my family AND pets sick. Vinyl flooring glued together looks like someone wiped dog crap all over it...maintenance said.."oh thats good!!! cuase it's repaired!"..about 40% of the tiles in both bathrooms are broken, no telling what is growing there. washer dryer doors in hallway falling off and they said they don't put them there, my responsibility. rampant electrical problems. Not only is my bill 350.00 a month, but that is not even cooling the apt. Still sit here and sweat becuase it won't cool properly. You think for 350.00 I could be chilling out..NO!! can't even put makeup on to go to work cuase i am sweating. Harrased at pool because office ladies freinds wanted 4 of the only 6 chairs at the pool. humiliating, and did absolutely nothing but got there early and had chairs all day, queitly watching grandson at the pool, drinking ice tea. 30 year old son, and 26 year old daughter had had 3 beers a piece in 5 hours. said they were drinking excessive!!!! give me a break. DO NOT...I repeat DO NOT MOVE HERE! And of course they are nice when you come to look at the apartment. They want you to move here so they can rip you off and ruin your life, you big dummy! Soon as you sign, well then it is a different story....HORRIBLE PLACE! CANT WAIT TO MOVE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!

I GOT ASSAULTED & ROBBED AT CHAPARRAL APTS BY GUN POINT I GOT ROBBED AT CHAPARRAL APTS BY GUN POINT, MY CAR WAS VANDALIZED MANY TIMES. To top this off, the management that gave me the OK to leave the complex because I didn't feel safe there anymore ended up charging me $2340 for leaving early. Can you believe that? They sympathized with me because of the incident and then turned around and screwed me over. The robber took my house keys, car keys and all my money, I'D. and credit cards...I had to start all over. My story is on FOX website. I caution you not to live on this complex. They will ruin your credit as well. I'm trying to get a house now and because of them I'm having a difficult time.
