Review for Aventura Harbor Apartments

If you want your concerns ignored, be treated like an idiot by management (when clearly they are the idiots), and live with no sense of security; then this place is for YOU! Don't be fooled, prior to signing that lease, you think you are moving in to the greatest place. All of that is over once you become a resident. My lease will be over very soon and I cannot wait.

The security/management here sucks. Having the "Security Manager" be both a leasing & security manager would explain much of why they suck. Don't ask the Property Manager any questions, she directs you to the dumb people running the leasing office. The management here doesn't seem to know much of anything. Security is around the property doing nothing; a lot of the time they leave the guard gates up and anyone could come in as they please. You cannot be very happy about your gate access card, several times a week the system is broken and you are stuck behind many cars trying to come in. The noise factor is a major issue and security/management never knows how to fix it. (Wake up at 4AM,for an hour commute after being up the whole night trying to get rude tenants to lower their loud music or shut their loud mouths in the balconies; not a pretty sight!)

Guest parking is so far away from most buildings that, it makes no sense to invite them over; if they park anywhere else their cars are towed (thank you for visiting, as a token of appreciation, your car has been towed). Often times the elevators don't work because, they leave them locked on a top floor (try coming up 5 floors, with groceries). To put money on your laundry card you have to go to the leasing office and don't guide yourself by the posted hours of operation, your time will be wasted, many times they are not open. Good luck if you don't adhere to the warnings and you move here. You will soon see how many empty apartments this property has and wonder the reasons why.
