Apartment Reviews for Berkshires At Walden Lake - Miami

When I moved here from Broward County, I was not expecting perfection, but I will say that the staff and maintenance are what make this place worthwhile! The staff are always very prompt in sending out maintenance whenever there is an issue in one of the apartments, and maintenance has always been very helpful in resolving the issue. However, the apartment we moved into was not in the best condition, and it was hard to believe that anyone had actually walked through and checked it! Dirty vents, soap scum in the bathtub and shower, electrical outlet plates not screwed in--just to name a few things. But again, for the high prices one must face when looking at apartments in and around the Miami area, this place is a slam dunk steal!:)Located right by the Broward County Line, Miramar is less than 5 minutes away--there's a bus line right by the community, and I've noticed school buses stop here and leave school-going kids right by the gate...not too shabby! All things aside, you have the benefit of living in a Miami location, with the convenience of shopping safely 5 minutes away in Miramar--and with a gated community, how can you go wrong? I have heard from people I know that live further south in Miami, that the city life gets worse, and we all know the rent gets higher--so why not give Berkshires at Walden Lake a try? It may not be perfection, but I can honestly say I feel safe and at home here!
