Apartment Reviews for Sherwood West Apartments - Miami

Truly a beautiful community. The staff has always maintained a high level of professionalism and addressed any and all of my questions. My unit is an 800 square foot one bedroom one bathroom with wood cabinets and granite counter tops. I have lived here for over 5 years and have never had any "serious" issues. I called once because my sink had a minor leak, and this problem was resolved the same day, as they sent out one of their maintenance guys. My AC filter is hand delivered to my unit every month and the first Friday of each month, they send out a fumigator to fumigate my apartment. The complex, from what I have witnessed, is full of families (Meaning there are a lot of children) and this is where most of the noise I have witnessed has come from. I personally do not find this to be a "problem." I find that we cannot control other people's actions, therefore, if someone wants to smoke a cigarette, they can go ahead an do so... if someone wants to ride bike around the property, they can do so, if someone wants to speak outside on their cell phone - they can do so. This is a place to live, not a babysitting center and I don't find that people's action's (unless they are a threat to another individual) should be controlled or under constant supervision, as this is a FREE COUNTRY :) . I have LOVED my experience in this complex, it is a very lively community, that is located in the heart of Kendall which makes it very convenient for me. I would also like to mention, that I am VERY VERY happy with the renovations that have been taking place; My front door has been changed, the buildings were all re-painted and the walk-ways are all being re-done. I would invite anyone to come and live in this community, I can sit here and continue to express my HAPPINESS with my place of residency, but I find that there's no better way of truly experiencing it than to come by and try it out yourselves!
