We moved in February 2006...since that time, things have gone from bad to worse.
1. The water gets turned off without notice countless times...sometimes lasting up to 48 hours.
2. The power gets turned off without notice randomly.
3. The lawn becomes a forest before it is cut (once in a blue moon)
4. The insulation sucks! We both work fulltime jobs and keep the air at about 78 with every light in the house off while we are gone, and our power bill is STILL $220 each month! We had to line the doors with insulation ourselves because the light and air was coming through.
5. The stove breaks down (quits working) off and on constantly.
6. The counters are cheaply "painted" and look disgusting if you clean them at all.
7. Cars are broken in to all the time.
8. Two females have been kidnapped while in this neighborhood just in the last year and my neighbor had a half-naked (naked below the belt) man approach her at night when she was checking her mail. The police were called but never caught him.
9. When you file a complaint or need something fixed, it could take days and you never know when they are coming. They just show up.
10. They've now raised the rent and also decided to charge for water now.
11. The "security guard" is a small woman whom you don't even see half the time at night.
All in all, it is an outrageous complex with a lot of drug dealing, thiefs, kidnappers, etc.etc.etc.
There are many many places here in Orlando that are a lot safer, cleaner, and friendlier for the same price. We are moving asap. We would have moved last year but unfortunately didn't have the money up front to place deposits on a new place. Now we do, and we are saying "PEACE!"
