Apartment Review for Auvers Village Apartments

I feel compelled to attempt to persuade you to find somewhere else to live. This place is horrible!! Now yes, it looks ok from the outside and its affordable, but dont be fooled. The insides are discusting! I had to clean the entire apartment before i could move in my things and the appliances are ancient. They literally cover up problems with paint, plaster, or caulking rather than actually fixing them. After a few routine cleanings the apartment looks worse and worse because the "temperary fixes" wash away, revealing hidden stains, mildew, mold and discoloration. And dont get me started on the office staff! IDIOTS. They will win you over with caring and kindness on your tour, but as soon as you sign a lease theyre useless. Plan on calling at least five times for each work request (that is IF they answer- u usually have to go to the office), and then waiting a month for it to get accomplished. We went about 3 wks with an A/C that blew warm air, and over 5 weeks with a leak in the hallway! I could go on and on, but I hope youve changed your mind by now... <P>
