Apartment Review for Jefferson Commons

Im going to keep this short and sweet... <P>
Management is TERRIBLE here. They don't care about their residents OR their concerns. You try and speak to them about a problem you are having and they speak to you like you're stupid. <P>
I have a VERY noisy neighbor who BLASTS her music at 7:30AM-8:40AM Mon,Wed,Fri. I have called the office (even at 7:30am) to complain and ask for something to be done....and nothing has changed. I have written 3 (going on 4...5...and then im sure 6) complaint forms and have I yet to get a response?? No. <P>
Parking is not so good either, but I pay $20 extra a month for a carport (which is basically a reserved parking spot just for me). Well, if you get one, don't expect to park there the first 2 months. People can't seem to read the bolded yellow RESERVED wording at the edge of the spot. Now granted, they DO tow them away...but usually 8-9 hours AFTER you call about them and low and behold, the car is gone. A-Reliable is NOT reliable. As for normal parking, you have to park in BFE at night and honestly, I wouldnt trust my car down there for more than 10 minutes. <P>
Now onto security! Granted they patrol (now) after 10pm...but I only just learned about this after the armed carjacking, and the many girls who have been pushed down and had their purse stolen. Because of this, I NEVER let a female friend walk alone at night back to their car, apartment, etc. But back to security. My roomates and I really don't feel too safe at night with all the crime in Pegasus and around Orlando. The alarm system we have (along with everyone else) is nice to know you have it..but unless you TURN ON a phone line and pay for that monthly, you cant turn on your alarm...so sadly due to finances, we can't even use our alarm system. <P>
Matinence isnt very good. It took a month to fix everything that we cited at move in and many of the things needed fixing ASAP! Matinence now isnt very efficient but apparentally they are new and better? Hmmm, ive yet to see that. <P>
Our apartment is VERY nice and clean though...but because we have done that. So dont expect to live somewhere nice unless you plan on making it nice yourself. <P>
As for parties...yea, its a party place. Granted, I enjoy my share of parties, but there comes a time when you need to chill and study because, suprise! your in school trying to further your life. So if you LOVE to party 24/7...yea, move here. But if you expect some quietness....don't waste your time with this place. <P>
And the pool..yea, it looks nice...but thats all you can do most of the time is SEE it...because its closed. and the Jacuzzi?? Never works. <P>
All in all, I am MORE than excited to move out of Pegasus Connection...a place where I dont feel safe, things are never fixed, and where you don't need an alarm clock to wake you up...just relay on the people next door. <P>
