Apartment Review for Outrigger Apartments

Day two of our tenancy our landlord phones us while grocery shopping to inform us our door had been kicked down. BROAD DAYLIGHT mind you! They got my lap top computer, two radios and we're not sure what else yet. Police even encouraged us to get out of the place.

Maintenance request with 6 items went untouched. The fridge was one of the issues and we brought that up each other time seperatly with the landlord, who assures us "he (repair man) will be there in five minutes" to look at it. We never saw this repair man whoever he was. Food ended up wasting.

Moldy carpets, rotten smell (the mold we're sure), and a couple of non paying tenants we call COCROACHES and we decided enough was enough. We lasted about TWO weeks.

This place is EASY as all get out to get into. When we arrived from out of state they didn't even ask to see our I.D. and assumed the photo copied ones we'd sent were real i guess. DON'T be fooled by the office. Looks like something out of Harvard or Yale for the president. NO residents had anything good to say about the place. Not the ones we spoke with. Be careful if you use the pool after dark as it is open until 8:00 p.m. but none of the lights IN or AROUND it work. Laundry room is open all the time but there doesn't seem to ever be a light on in there either.
