I moved here back in 2001, and have stayed all through the years even though from 2004 to 2008 the staff was horrible. I love my apartment and this is my home so I stuck it out! The property sold to some new management, and at first I was unsure. To my happy surprize, a lot of much needed changes started to occur. Im glad Shadow Lakes is looking and feeling more like it did years ago! This is a great place to live and the best location. Everything you need is so close by. Im so glad i stayed and plan to for many years to come. Thank you new staff and management!!

I used to live in Shadow Lakes Apartments. I thought for the price you pay there being in Ormond Beach is a pretty good deal! When I was living there all my neighbors and I were pretty good friends. I know about the parking issue but if you notice Count the number of parking spaces and then count the number of apartment that there are...there are more apartments then parking spots. 9 time out of 10 you wont be parking infront of your apartment. They have a nice work-out room. If you want to do laundry, you better do it early or on a week night. anyother time you better take a number lol. I know the maintenace might be a little slow but they do get around to your problems. The Management is nice in the office and they are always helpful. I loved living there and thinking about moving back. <P>
