The parking is the best thing about the complex. There is no security even though gated. Recent burglaries (5 or more)with no signs of forced entry, but huge support from management in dealing w/ this issue. Frequent motorcycle racing on adjacent road which makes for a lot of noise, from people who do not live here. Nice look on the outside presenting a certain "image" but below the exterior it's just the average roof over your head. <P>

I am the maintenance supervisor of Gateway Villas. Although it is unfortunate that a few apartments have been burglarized crime is an ever present reality. With 23 years of Maintenance experience I have never seen break ins on such a large scale. The units that were burglarized were part of a large ring operating throughout the state. The breakins are all similar and are under investigation. Call your local authorities for more info. As for maintenance having access to your apartment,This is standard operating precedure. The only access we have is with the residents permission to service the unit or emergencies. Our key system is a computerized monitering system. It knows which employee removes a key ,when where and why. As for our service we are professional and timely. 95% of our work or service is completed within a 24 hour period. Most are same day.Our office staff are also very professional, They are very troubled by our recent break ins and have been working with authorities as far as they can be allowed. Our gate system is not a security system it is only a deterent. <P>
