Apartment Review for Gatehouse On The Green

When I moved in I was looking for a quiet, safe place with friendly neighbors. While this is mostly true the maintenance isn't. My apartment featured busted door frames (from past residents having domestic disturbance) which were hastly put back together and painted over. Last year my neighbor and an assailant got stabbed at 2:30 in the morning. Last week two neighbors in another building were shot to death from unknown assailant. The gate to gated community had been broken for long time yet strangly was fixed the next day. While neighbors are generaly friendly; having the gate broken as invited unwanted guests to cruise the parking lot and showcase their blinged vechials annoying engines and stereos. The place feaures a dry sauna and steam room yet both have been broken for at least a year now. The game room is always closed after office hours and after the dumpsters were replaced with a single trash compactor, trash has been filling the small trashcans available. I've tried contacting managment to look into the mice or rodents I have living in my third floor apartment attic but never gotten a response back. Now this week the place reeks from their likely carcasses rotting above my living room ceiling. While I hate to complain about what used to be a nice place I find it difficult to recommend this place especially how when the problems get worse the rent just keeps getting higher. <P>
