i am just going to list the basics and try not to get emotional- but i will say that the people who WORK in the office are nice and the people who RUN the office are nasty. SOFIA is sarcastic. remember her name- she has a British accent. she will bully you so you'd rather avoid her than report problems. she suggests that you are the cause of mold, etc- even before you occupy the space.

here we go: there is mold that they will not take care of, sprinklers that soak you on the way into the apartment, BAD wiring that arcs, 40 lb. bathroom mirrors that have no brackets and fall off the wall and almost onto your toddler...

a front gate that hasn't worked 82% of the time we've lived here and the office's "liability" inspired solution is to stick paper notices of break-ins in your door every week.

the office has 4 versions of photo CDs documenting everything that was wrong within the first week. we lodged 52 complaints in the first 3 days alone. they spray painted my belongings while they painted the bug-infested 30 year old kitchen cabinets with Krylon.

i hear EVERYTHING the neighbors above and next to me do.

they call certain things 'upgrades', but they are merely cheap replacement for things that wouldn't pass inspection this time around (fixtures with screws that are not sealed so they rust).
the air filters were filthy, so was the dishwasher. the marine paint they spray the tubs with peels off. so does the 'laminate' flooring in the kitchen. the tile and grout in the bathrooms was never sealed and they repair the bathrooms with caulk and not silicone so black mildew grows uncontrollably. there is no regular maintenance schedule for the air filters (the fans in the bathroom also have filter that have NEVER BEEN REPLACED.) so if you are already stuck in a lease call every 3 months and make them replace it.
the cheap toilets reek and their lids break if you put them down and pinch a toddler's thighs if they sit on them. you can't buy enough bleach to keep them clean.

we are working on breaking our lease now bc the mold (which, unfortunately, i am highly allergic to) is so rampant i've suffered respiratory illness for months. it grows like lichen on a tree under and in the bathroom cabinets. they make you sign a mold page along with your lease agreement which i've NEVER seen in all my years of renting in South FL. our atty says it indicates prior tenant problems but my bleach receipts and maintenance records blow it out of the water.

i have to work now so i will stop-
i think people will get the point.
rent here at your own risk.
i'll be cutting and pasting this same review on every site i can find.
