Apartment Review for Trailwood Apartments

The tan colored townhomes on willow trail run are larger then those on oak trail run, as well as the white painted units on willow trail run. They were well built. It has a pool, yet shares it with the individually operated/unaffiliated trailwood condos. There are numerous issues with tenents in the condos, as they are not properly screened before renting. Unfortunately, the townhomes are also plagued by landlords whom don't screen tenants. The landscaping is horrendous and is an on going issue. $150 per month covers your building maintence (if you need repairs....good luck. It is unlikely that they will respond or if they do.....unlicensed workers come with no insurance or a fake policy), basic cable, pool usage, the supposed landscaping (ha) and the non use of the pad locked tennis courts. Its a shame maintenance is not better, this could be a great development. Unfortunately the so-called HOA is unresponsive to requests for repairs, inquiries about landscaping/maintenence as well as any other issues. If you are looking for a place to call "home", that you won't be embarrassed to bring friends to....the inside is what you make it.......the landscaping and general cleanliness is embarrassing.....keep looking. If you are the type who cares less about appearences and cleanliness.......trailwood is for you. Again (as it has been for the past 5+ years) its a shame that the HOA board and numerous absentee landlords dont care about the complex as the units are a decent size and this could be a great community. Also, if you rent....good luck! The HOA will not speak with/deal with renters and most rentals have landlords that only look to collect rent.
