I was present when the shootings that were mentioned in the last review took place and as a female this made me very uncomfortable to even walk outside at night. Also I came home from work one night to discover the building adjacent to mine had been broken into and a man knocked unconscious. I have heard many other stories about crime around here since I moved in, in August. My car was hit by someone backing out one day, and a red scrape was left down the side of my car. A few days ago I awoke to my neighbors knocking on the door and they informed me my car window had been smashed in. The robbers took my purse containing my rent money, used my credit cards, took my i-pod and the car dock that went with it, along with other personal items. Also two other cars had their cars broken into that same night. Luckily as a result of this happening I was able to break the lease and move to a much safer place. As for the apartment itself, the floor was dirty when I moved in and there was a spot on the wall that sinks in to the touch. Also the vanity mirrors were lying in the sink when I walked in for the first time. Do not rent here, it is not worth the price or the expense of having to recover stolen items.
