The apartments of Four Seasons are quite small and they lie about the square footage within their ads. I know how to do math and I have measured my apartment and it is NOT what they advertised. And the closets are by no means walk-in closets, they lied about that to.
The neighborhood has a quite a bit of crime, homelessness and crazy student drivers on weekend nights. One night my friend and I noticed a homeless man trying to rob a man who was simply trying to get into his car. The homeless man had a large rock that he wanted to hit the innocent victim over the head with. The innocent victim had called the police and about three cop cars came out and pulled their guns out on the homeless man and had arrested him. This happened right in front of my apartment door. Also, it is very hard to take a nice walk through the neighborhood b/c for every 20 feet you will be greeted by a homeless person asking you for money or trying to sell drugs. Also, the two dumpsters in the back of the building continuously have homeless and vagrants digging & picking through them. They also have had tendencies of living in the laundry room and taking showers in the swimming pool. There have also been break-ins in people's apartments and their cars!!!
There are also a number of drug dealers and bad characters living amongst the apartment complex. They don't try to run criminal background checks on these people before they give them leases! I truly wish they did!! All the management cares about is simply collecting the rent!!
The neighborhood also gets crazy at nights b/c of the night clubs across the street. The clubs play a lot of loud music that you can hear perfectly from Four Seasons. Many of the drunken frat boys scream & yell as they leave & enter the sleazy night clubs. I see them staggering up and down W. Virginia Street and their falling over & throwing up from all the liquor they consumed. They disrespect the apartment complex by parking illegally in Four Seasons parking lot. When they come back later that night they urinate and defecate in the bushes. Since they are sloppy drunk they then drive under the influence from the large amounts of alcohol they had just drank. One of those crazy drunk teeny boppers even hit my car bumper when they were driving away from a parking lot that they should have not parked in the first place. Four Seasons has towing, but they do not enforce it very much. Some weekends they don't tow at all and other weekends they just tow 2 or 3 times for the whole night when they're plenty of illegally parked cars they still need to tow.
****And to top that off, Four Seasons management have done a decent job of maintaining the outside premises of apartment complex but failed miserably when comes to the apartments themselves!!!!!! I myself have had a lot of problems when it comes to my apartment and the same problems I have had I have heard from dozens of other tenants having them as well. The windows inside the apartments are CRAP!! During the winter months they don't just get cold, but dripping wet!!!! Intern, mold starts to build up around the windows and then spread to walls and if not taken care of soon enough it will spread throughout the entire apartment. In my friends bedroom, the ENTIRE wall between the windows and the bathroom was filled with mold. I have had this problem myself and it is an extreme hassle to try to clean the mold off the walls using bleach. It then creates a horrid smell and it is a hassle to try to move the furniture around. It's also a health hazard. The management needs to replace the windows with ones that don't get dripping wet on the inside of the window during the winter months. They don't even provide the tenants with those types of basic necessities.
Also, many tenants have had problems with their AC units not working and some of those AC units tend to leak water into the floors of the apartment. Then that water moves downward into the apartment below them. The water would then drip into the apartment below them, and then it would feel like it was raining inside the apartment. Bubbles filled with water would then form in the paint of the ceilings and water would then start to drip out of those bubbles. That water would cause damage to anything it falls onto and creates a damp, humid feeling inside the apartment!! The apartment complex is falling apart, it either needs a major makeover or it needs to be torn down.
Also, the apartment complex has a lot of wild cats running around and living inside the bushes. They have not contacted animal control to try to eliminate the problem and relocate the cats. The cats fight each other all the time and make a lot of load noises during mating season.
Also one of the managers lied constantly about things that the tenants would be getting, but never received!!! Things like free cable, free washers & dryers in each of the apartments, agreements concerning leases things that ended up being lies!! She also hired two 12 year old boys to act as maintenance and clean the apartment complex.
The list goes on and on, Im sure that there is more that I can mention, but I dont have the time to mention everything. The only reason that I am living at Four Seasons apartments is to b/c of the fact that I am a student at Florida State University and the parking on campus is horrendous, they have absolutely no parking. Intern, I have to live to in an apartment complex that is within walking distance from the university.
