Utitlities were insane. And don't bother asking for an accounting-they refuse to give you one- which by the way is illegal. Whatever you save in rent you pay in utitility overages which were close to 50 $ a month (on top of a 50 $ utility allowance you pay every month).

Parking was terrible which is slightly understandable because it is a small complex. I honestly didn't feel safe here. Crime was a problem and a lot of residents are loud and throw trash everywhere. I lived on the second floor which sucked because the people above us were constantly clogging or playing dance dance revolution. Walls were thin and the apartment gets really hot which sucks in the summer (especially because with the utilities so high we didn't turn the AC below 79).

Some stuff gets fixed - others get left unfixed mainly because the management was only here at odd hours (like late, late at night). The rooms haven't been renovated in a while. The carpet needed to be stretched (and cleaned or just replaced!). Furnished apts were ok...furniture was in livable condition. The place was pretty small.

Management was fair. They tried to be nice but other residents totally suck and I think it really got to them. Really the biggest problem there was the other residents. A lot of them did drugs, make tons of noise (with firecrackers on the 2nd floor walkway- we called the cops twice- or with stereos late at night on school nights), and have over tons of friends so you had to call the tow company before you can park. Overall, it is way 2 expensive for the place you got- especially the utilities. I'm glad I moved and I would never advise anyone to live there.

I also think it is unethical for the apartment building management to pose as residents posting glowing recommendations of the apartment on apartmentratings.com. Perhaps they should take these comments as constructive critism rather than blatantly lying to future consumers.
