Review for Boardwalk Apartments

This place puts on a hell of a show when they are trying to get you to sign a lease. The staff is reponsive and helpful. The club house, brochure and model apartment look really nice. Do not be fooled. Once you sign your life away for a year to this place, the problems surface almost immediately. A grand total of approximately 12 visitor spaces make up for "visitor parking." I'm glad my parents don't plan on visiting me overnight. There's not even enough spaces for some of the residents. The typical distance from where I'm able to park at night to my apartment is almost a quarter mile. This may not seem like a lot, but when you are paying $450-$515 a month to live here, I should at least not have to hike it on up to my apartment. The management, as it turns out, is run mostly but people who live here and work at the front only to lower their rent, A.K.A. they don't care period if things are run right. In addition, the walls might as well be made from printer paper as there is no sound insulation. Also, when you recieve your "roommate matching form," you might as well throw it in the garbage. I wouldn't be surprised if the leasing manager eve looks at that, much less tries to match anyone except besides gender. This place is a total scam. There's a fee if you even want to transfer to another apartment! Please rethink your decision before you sign yourself to such a sham of an apartment.
