Apartment Reviews for Downunder - Tallahassee

I lived at DownUnder this pasted year. And it's very nice but, it is way to expensive. We payed 420 a month, thats crazy. They promised us the hot tub would be ready by the time we moved in Aug 06' and to this day it's still not fixed. The gym sucks. Half of the machines dont work. The tanning bed sucks. People have parties at like 2 in the morning by the pool and you can hear them all night. Especailly duirng exam week. It's a very nice place jsut way overpriced and the management isnt that great. Oh yea and your right next to the ghetto. SO when you drive to school, you go right through it!

I've totally enjoyed it and will be here another year. I've lived at a few other places and this one is the best by far. It's a great apartment for a good price, my roommates are chill, the parties here are great, office staff are nice, maintenance is quick, and I convinced a friend of mine to come join me next year so you should too. I moved in last august and was satisfied from the beginning. On my move in day my apt had been completely cleaned, I had brand new paint on the walls and the carpet and furniture had been replaced and was brand new just like what they had advertised. The only disappointing part was the hot tub, it was not working(and hasn't worked all year). I'm in a 4/2 and me and one of my roommates has renewed for next year. It was me and my freind who moved in and they roommate matched two others with us and they have been good to live with. I know I probably got lucky but my last apt there could not have possibly been any matching done whatsoever so I was happy when everyone was getting along this time. The staff in the office are usually really friendly and they know me by name. I've never been towed from here and I am always able to park near my apt. Its not always right in front like I would want but then again i'm not the only one living in my building. Visitor parking is lacking but then that is the same no matter what apt complex you live in. I have several good friends who live at other apts and everytime I go there I have problems parking. I've seen the cops out here several times but I figure that is a good thing because at least they are doing their job and patroling to look for things going on. The rent is very reasonable especially compared to some of the other places in Tallahassee. I would definitely recommend this place to others because overall the apt is nice, the rent is good, and the staff and maintence are friendly. <P>
