Ehhh...not the best, but not the worst ( over a year ago )

We moved in The Verandas about 1 1/2 years ago. When we moved in, the place was pristine. The was a small crack in the crown moulding, but other than that no problems. I think they try so hard to fill the apartments, they don't do a good job of screening residents. People allow their dogs to poop EVERYWHERE. And there are a lot of young people (students)...more than my husband and I anticipated. The maintainance staff is very inefficient and I'm not sure how well trained. The buidlings are nice but there is very poor sealing around windows and doors. We had leaks during heavy rain storms and bugs. But, everytime I called the office, they fixed things quickly. Ingra was pretty great.

... keep good records of your rent payments, deposits, etc. There were multiple months that I was charged twice for my rent and their records indicated that I didn't pay a security deposit - hence it wasn't returned when I left. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, just not very good at record keeping. <P>
Maintenance was always fine - things taken care of very quickly when they did happen - but not much happened - the unit was very nice. (Carpet could have been cleaned better but all-in-all, it was fine.) <P>
Neighbors were always friendly and quiet. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an apartment in Tallahassee. <P>

Nice apartments and staff. The walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbor **** in bed. Not Kidding! <P>

I enjoyed living here. It's always clean and the staff are helpful. I would recommend living here. I looked around Tallahassee and this is the nicest apartment I found. <P>
