Verandas at Southwood can be found in a neighborhood just southeast of downtown Tallahassee. Southwood Village Shopping Center is within walking distance of the building, and Southside Shopping Plaza and Governor’s Square Mall are also within the vicinity of Verandas at Southwood. Reviewers enjoy the pool, tennis court, and the nearby lake. Management is reported to have made many new improvements: reviewers write that many units have seen new paint jobs, new things have been purchased for the clubhouse and pool, and the grill area was updated. Many say they do no plan to move out of Verandas anytime soon, they enjoy their apartment so much!
