Review for Villa San Michele Apartments

I moved into one of their 4/4 units in August 2008, thinking my move to this community was a great idea since it was brand new & kind of away from FSU/FAMU. Everything was cool until the middle of October when I happened to look out of my window one day & witnessed some random guys wearing camouflage break into the peoples' unit 2 doors down from me...in broad daylight! Then it happened two more times after that to people in my building...once again, in broad daylight! Not to mention how the office got robbed as well. Safety in this community is a very BIG issue & the staff doesn't seem to care at all. My roommates & I went up to the office several times to express our concerns, but nothing was ever done. Then, parking became ridiculous & there's definitely not enough guest parking, so many of the guests took up the resident parking, meaning a resident would have to park on the opposite side of the community from their building. Residents have decals to avoid problems like this, but towing was never enforced. Also, the neighborhood appearance is really nice, but it's so far away from everything & hidden, making it an easy crime target, especially since it's not gated. I had such a horrible experience here that by the middle of January 2009, I had enough & moved out! I'm not even going to get into how the staff treated my lease since then. I truly feel bad for the other residents that are still living there & want to get out of their lease.

I agree 100%. The staff is useless and almost enjoy your pain.
