It Continously Gets Worse

My husband and I have been living here for 3 years. When we first moved it, it was a nice place to live. The neighbors were friendly and never had a problem. Over the past couple of years, everything has gone downhill. There is only one dumpster for the entire complex and it is constantly overflowing. The management does not have time to have the dumpster emptied, but yet, they have time to go around to every apartmemt and leave a note stating they will charge us if we leave a garbage bag next to the dumpster. There is constantly bags of garbage all over the roads. Also, our carpet hasn't been changed since before we moved in. The toliet constantly overflows. There is a drain in the laundry room which has overflowed at least 5 times. Our neighbors actually overflowed so badly, that it flooded his kitchen and even made it to his living room. We woke up to find him sweeping water out his front door. Luckily enough, only our laundry room got flooded. Another concern that has bothered me is that maintenance will come to our apt to fix things that we have not requested to be fixed. Apparently, the complex got sued for from the ADA. I don't mind making the apartments handicap accessable, but having them change something every week. They remolded the bathroom door to open towards the hallway instead of into the bathroom. Instead of buying new doors, they cheaped out and and just turned the door backwards. Now if there is someone in a wheelchair, they were have to grab the handle, pull backwards to completely open and then go around the door to get into the bathroom. I don't know how they would even close the door. they also lowered our security alarm and now there is a huge piece of fiber glass on the wall to cover the original hole. The last complaint that I have is, that about a year ago, they were letting just about anyone move in just to get the apartments full. They quickly learned that it wasn't such a great idea. After they began evicting people, all the current residents had to re-register their cars. We had to go to leasing office (who is only open 9-5 m-f) to take our registration and tag # to get a second new sticker. This is kind of a pain considering we leave in the morning around 7:30 and don't return home until after 6. Let's just say after all this, our hope to buy a house has increased dramatically.
