Apartment Review for Landmark At Avery Place

This place is a far cry from "luxury" apartments. The apartments are very small and very dated. The appliances appear to have come over on Noah's Ark ... they are beat up and dirty and don't match. They just about did not put a kitchen in these little places; very small. The carpet is that dirty beige and if you can stand to live there long enough to renew a lease, Landmark will NOT pay to have your carpets cleaned like most good apartment owners do.

The demographic appears to be mostly black and hispanic although a few white people have been seen. I agree that raising rents helps weed out riff raff and undesirables; however, they need to live up to their advertising and do some serious makeovers here for the kind of money they are asking. The only luxury is in the club house. A saving grace is that it is located in Carrollwood which is a nice area. But places like this cheapen it.
