Apartment Reviews for Meridian Apartments - Tampa

I lived at meridian for just over 3 years. (10/2002-12/2005) <P>
I think many management staffs may seems a little 'cool' and merely polite, until you get to know them, and they you. A lot of what you get from an apt community and its' staff are directly related to what you put into it.(IE, being a courteous and respectful resident) Mary, Nancy, Teri, Carmen, and even the maint. guys all knew me by name and were always friendly. I had a few issues over the years with some policies they had, but always got a fair explanation when i asked questions. To be paying less than $500/mo for a 1 bedroom apt in tampa that isnt a dump or in an unsafe area says a lot. Yes the buildings are aging, as they were built in the early 80's. But, everything can't be brand new. <P>
The only complaint I would really have about Meridian is the parking. the lines seem to have been painted quite narrow, making it so that if you are parked next to any kind of SUV or truck you are squeezing out of your car. Not to mention that drivers of said SUV/trucks seem to not be able to park within the lines of the spots, but thats another story. <P>
If i were to move back to that area of tampa (temple terrace) i would definately re-sign a lease at Meridian. <P>
