Review for Riverchase Apartment

So this is how GREAT Korman Residential is. So...We live 1002 miles away from Temple Terrace, FL. We had planned on moving to this facility on June 28th, 2009. We have never been to Tampa or it's surrounding cities before. We looked for months upon months to find an apt that suited our needs as well as our childs needs. My husband is in the U.S. Military so we didn't need to pay an application fee, however, we did have to pay an admin fee of 50.00 as well as a security deposit of 99.00. Before they would even run our application they had to have that. So we sent it in, they ran our app and we were approved. Good news right? Well things do happen and we ran into a huge financial snag. Ok, we could have covered it, however, it would have left us flat broke with nothing and a maxed out CC so we decided that we would wait for a little while before we move. Korman Residential REFUSED to give our security deposit back. I understand them keeping our 50.00 admin fee for inconvenience. Now wait a minute... Are they not supposed to give our security deposit back...Once we move out and things are still in good shape???? Yeah....They are...Considering we didn't move there in the first place wouldn't it just be right for them to give us our security deposit back???? Nope, not to them. They refuse to give us our money back. Make sense? Ridiculous!!!!
