Review for The Park On Waters Apartments

I have lived here for 2years and can not wait to move out!! I made a pro/con list for you.

Some Cons:
1. Someone was shot and killed here last summer
2. The gates re-open so access cards are just a nice false sense of security.
3. My screened in patio was broken into and my bike was stolen.
4. I complained about water leaking in my kitchen, they took their time, and 2 months later they told me they had "fixed it" but when I returned from vacation there was a pool of water in my kitchen. Not only did they take an additional 2 months to fix it properly, but they carelessly splashed paint all over my kitchen and were reluctant to replace anything (I got a $15 gift card to replace over $100 worth of items).
5. I was being stalked/watched by another resident who does not live close to me but has been parking right in front of my apartment for the past 2 months and leaving notes on my car. 2 Police reports later, and I am still disappointed with the apathy of the staff here.
6. I requested a weather strip for my patio door in February to keep the cute lizards and frogs out of my apartment, and repeated my request twice since then, but yet the response I get it still "this week".


Some pros:
1. Water is included.
2. They will accept anyone.
3. Bilingual Staff.
4. Nice pool (which has not been working because someone dropped a bunch of oil in it.)
5. If you smoke Mary Jane ask for an apartment closer to Armenia because that stuff runs wild with the people that live there.
6. There is a gym with 2 elliptical machines, 2 treadmills, and a mini total gym. (But it is only open during the office business hours which leaves working adults out of the loop!)

Seriously reconsider moving here if Safety is a priority!! It is not an ideal place of residence.
