I have lived out here for almost 3 years. And have never had a problem with anyone in the office. As far as your situation, did you ever attend the meetings. This incident was never brought up and they are very good at letting us know whats happening out here. Everyone will have their own personal experience. But the office staff go way over their job duties, they even help out with finding jobs, and provide information as to where you can go for help for those who have trouble paying rent. Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but that just doesn't sound like them.
